Anti-spam Policy
Effective August 1, 2026
Aurora’s Marketing and WhatsApp CRM tools exist to help you reach customers who want to hear from you. Unsolicited bulk messaging is prohibited on the platform, in every region and on every channel.
Consent requirements
You may only send campaigns to recipients who have given consent to be contacted — an opt-in signup, an existing customer relationship, or another lawful basis recognized by applicable law (e.g. CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, India’s DPDP Act). Purchased, scraped, or rented contact lists are not permitted.
WhatsApp campaigns must additionally comply with WhatsApp Business Platform’s own messaging policies, including template approval and 24-hour session-messaging windows.
Required message elements
Every marketing email sent through Aurora must include an accurate sender identity and a working one-click unsubscribe link; Aurora enforces this automatically at the template level and honors unsubscribes platform-wide within 24 hours, in line with legal requirements.
Enforcement
We monitor bounce rates, spam complaints, and abuse reports across the platform. Organizations with sustained high complaint rates or evidence of non-consensual sending may have campaign-sending capability suspended pending review, and repeated violations can result in account termination.
Reporting abuse
If you’ve received an unwanted message sent via Aurora, forward it (with headers, if email) to abuse@aurora.com and we will investigate — see also our Abuse Policy.
